YOUR DATA, EXPLAINED
Privacy policy.
What Next Set stores, what stays on your device, and the choices you have.
Next Set by Next Solutions · Updated 05/10/2026
A useful distinction: your training records and everyday settings can sync to your account. Your private cycle diary, photos and Coach conversation history stay on your device and are excluded from ordinary cloud backups. If you deliberately send selected information to an AI feature or to support, that information leaves your device for that request. Device-only storage does not apply to copies you choose to share this way.
1. Who we are
Next Set is a fitness and workout app provided by Next Solutions. This policy covers the Next Set app, its marketing website and related support requests. The Next Solutions applications showcase has a separate website privacy notice. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@nextsolutions.app.
App Store and Google Play releases are coming soon. The practices below describe the current Next Set service; store-specific disclosures will accompany those releases.
2. Information we handle
Next Set uses information you provide to deliver the features you choose. This can include:
- Account and profile details: your account identifier, email address when used to sign in, name, date of birth, sex, height and training preferences.
- Training and progress: splits, exercises, sets, weights, reps, session history, goals, phases, body measurements, templates, gym profiles and equipment settings.
- Optional personal records: cycle diaries and check-ins, selected photos, medication schedules and dose logs, and Coach messages. These categories have different storage rules, explained below.
- Preferences and notifications: dashboard layout, ordinary app settings, reminder choices and, when enabled, notification subscription information.
- Support information: your email address, the content of your request, and any attachments you choose to send. Never send passwords or sign-in codes. Send health records, photos or complete backups only when necessary and after agreeing an appropriate way to share them.
- Operational information: information needed for sign-in, abuse prevention and delivery of the website or app, such as request timing and network information handled by the hosting service.
We use these records to provide workout logging and suggestions, keep your settings and supported records in sync, deliver requested notifications, respond to support requests, and protect the service. We do not sell health and fitness records or use them for advertising.
3. Where your data lives
| Information | Why we use it | Storage and backup |
|---|---|---|
| Training, measurements, splits and gym profiles | Log workouts, review progress and provide workout suggestions using your training setup. | Stored on your device and synced to your account; included in supported account backups. |
| Saved templates, dashboard layout and ordinary app settings | Reuse saved workouts and preserve your layout and preferences. | Synced to your account and included in current account backups. |
| Ordinary reminder categories and preview choices | Apply your notification choices and send reminders you enable. | Sync with your account. Each device needs its own notification permission and delivery setup. |
| Private cycle records, preferences and detailed check-ins | Maintain your diary and check-ins, and support optional cycle-related guidance. | Account-scoped storage on your device. Excluded from ordinary cloud sync and backups. A separate encrypted Cycle export is available. |
| Progress photos and profile photos | Display photos you select for your profile and progress records. | Account-scoped storage on your device. Excluded from automatic cloud sync and cloud backups. |
| Coach conversation history | Display your Coach conversations on your device. | Stored on your device, outside automatic cloud sync and backups. Sending a new message involves processing by the AI provider. |
| Optional medication tracking | Record schedules and dose logs, and provide reminders you enable. | Stored with your account, requires an internet connection, and is included in complete downloaded and cloud backups. |
Workouts may sync a generic readiness restriction without menstrual dates, phases or symptoms. The app does not automatically add your cycle diary, photo library, past Coach transcript or medication records to Coach context.
Where older cloud copies of private cycle records, photos or Coach history exist, the app requires verified recovery to device storage before removing those cloud copies. The relevant data controls show migration status. Progress photos are resized on your device and their location metadata is removed before local storage.
Stopping medication tracking hides that section and stops its reminders. Its history remains in your account and becomes visible again if you enable tracking. Account deletion removes these records as described below. Medication notification text omits medicine names and doses.
4. Service providers and optional AI
Hosting, storage, email and notification providers process information to operate the service. These services may process data in countries other than your own. Their processing is subject to their terms and applicable data-protection requirements.
Coach
When you ask Coach, your current message and relevant training context are sent to OpenAI to generate a response. Information you put in the message is included. Your cycle diary, photo library and previous Coach transcript are not automatically included. Next Set does not persist new Coach questions or answers on its server. OpenAI’s processing and retention are described in OpenAI’s API data policy.
Photo estimates
The separate body-fat photo estimate explains its data use and asks permission before selected photos are sent for processing. Its uploaded images are not automatically added to the progress-photo library. Provider handling and retention are described in OpenAI’s API data policy.
Support-assisted data migration
If you request help moving from another app, support handles your messages and any export files you choose to provide to assess and assist with the transfer. Start by telling us which app you use, which records you want to move and whether the app offers an export. We will review what may be transferable and discuss the information needed before you send files. Compatibility depends on the source app and available export format; not every record or format can be transferred. Never send passwords or sign-in codes. Records imported into Next Set follow the storage and deletion rules for their categories in this policy. Support correspondence and attachments are handled separately from app account records. Deleting your app account does not delete that correspondence. Contact us separately to request removal of messages or files sent for migration, and tell us which enquiry they relate to.
Email and notifications
Email sign-in codes are delivered through Resend, which receives the destination email address and message. Notification delivery services process subscriptions needed to send reminders you enable. Exercise demonstrations are served by Next Set rather than embedded from their original providers.
Support email is handled through the mailbox service used by Next Solutions. Sending an email necessarily shares its contents with the email services involved. The app’s device-only storage rules do not apply to information you independently send by email. Send a brief description first, without a full backup or health record.
5. This website and cookies
This marketing website does not ask for a Next Set account, collect workout entries, or include a newsletter form. Its feature preview uses fictional example data. It does not connect to or change your app account.
We have not added advertising pixels, marketing analytics or third-party tracking scripts. Fonts and brand assets are served with the site. The hosting platform may process request information and use essential cookies or storage for access, security and site delivery, including during private preview access.
Support links open your email app; they do not submit a request automatically. The copy-email button uses clipboard access only after you select it. Links to external services are governed by those services’ own policies.
6. Sign-in and security
If you sign in by email, Next Set stores your email with your account. Code requests store your email, keyed one-way hashes of the code and a browser-held token, request/send/use times, and attempt counts. Codes expire after 10 minutes. Cleanup runs when a code is sent and removes request records more than one day past expiry.
To reduce abuse, request counters use keyed one-way hashes of the email address and network address (IPv4, or the first half of IPv6). The same cleanup removes counters unused for two days. Email sign-in sessions last 30 days unless you sign out. Account deletion removes your email, sign-in sessions, code requests and email-address counter.
The live app uses HTTPS for data in transit. That is not end-to-end encryption. The account backup key is held by the service, so the encrypted Cycle export should not be described as end-to-end encrypted either. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
7. Backups, retention and deletion
In Settings → Backups & sync, a JSON backup includes training and measurement records, saved templates, dashboard layout, synced app settings, ordinary reminder choices and medication records. Current cloud safety copies include the same supported categories. Notification permissions, device time zones and subscription credentials are not exported.
Photos, Coach conversations and private cycle records are not part of ordinary account backups. Cycle settings → Cycle data offers a separate encrypted export, which can be imported while signed into the same account. Keep an appropriate separate copy before changing devices or clearing browser storage. Losing a device or clearing app/browser data can remove records stored only there.
Account records remain until you remove them, reset applicable records or delete the account. Corrected or deleted workout records can remain in recovery copies until those copies are replaced or the account is deleted. A verified account-scoped settings snapshot may be cached on your device to support offline backup; it is not used as automatic Coach context.
You can initiate deletion in Settings → Account → Delete account without contacting support. Account deletion removes Next Set account records and cloud objects, including recovery copies. Interrupted deletion can be retried. A minimal deletion marker prevents late writes from recreating removed data. You can also request deletion assistance by email.
Deletion does not erase files you have downloaded, your ChatGPT account, messages held by your email provider or material retained by external providers under their policies. Device-only data on another device may need to be removed there. Support correspondence is handled separately from app records; contact us to request its deletion.
8. Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile and settings, choose whether to use optional cycle tracking, photo features, medication tracking and notifications, export supported records, and delete your account. Photo selection accesses files you choose rather than requesting your complete photo library.
Disabling a feature and deleting its records are different actions. The controls below summarise the current service; see the storage and backup sections above for the full details.
| Control | What happens |
|---|---|
| Turn Cycle off | Pauses its use for new guidance. Your diary remains. |
| Turn medication tracking off | Hides the section and stops its reminders. Your history remains and reappears if you enable tracking again. |
| Export an account backup | Includes the supported account records described above. It does not include photos, Coach conversations or private cycle records. |
| Export Cycle data | Creates a separate encrypted export through Cycle settings → Cycle data. It can be imported while signed into the same account. |
| Delete your account | Start in Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes Next Set account records and cloud objects, including recovery copies. Downloaded files, external-provider records and device-only data on another device may require separate action. |
| Request removal of support messages or attachments | Contact support separately and identify the enquiry. Deleting your app account does not delete support correspondence. |
Choosing not to use an AI feature avoids sending a new request through that feature. It does not erase previous requests processed by its provider. Review the provider information above before sharing personal information.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and raise a concern with a data-protection authority. Send requests to support@nextsolutions.app. In your initial message, say whether your request concerns app account records, information stored only on your device, or support messages and attachments. A brief description is enough to start; do not send passwords, sign-in codes or a complete backup. We may need to verify that a request comes from the account holder before acting. We will explain any applicable limitations.
9. Children
Next Set is a general fitness service, not a service directed at children. If you believe a child has provided information without the consent required where they live, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate website or app notices.
